Important information about Uyuni

  • In the rainy season, from December to late March, There are no access to visit Incahuasi Islands and the salt hostels in San Juan or similar. According to availability, the accommodations will be in little towns near to Uyuni. Some of these hostels are more basic than the salt hostels (they do not have a private bathroom, hot showers) therefore it’s necessary to carry a sleeping bag due to the low temperatures.
  • From June to August, temperatures fall too much for winter, therefore the chances of having snowstorms are high. If the road becomes dangerous to continue the adventure, the itinerary will be modified.

Note about Visit South America – Uyuni

A collective where we share the travelers to complete a full vehicle of 5 when one or the other is short.
