8 Days Peru Group Tour – VSA & Exploor

When arriving to Lima, you’ll be picked up from the airport by our local staff that takes you straight to your hotel. Once there, you’ll have the chance to relax and explore the nearby places on your own.

At night, you’ll get together with the rest of the group and enjoy your welcome dinner.

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Lima and take you to the airport.

Upon arrival in Cusco, our staff will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy the city’s must-visit sites in a city tour. Grab your camera to get a few good shots of the local landmarks, such as Qoricancha (a former Inca temple turned Spanish church), the lively San Pedro Market or the cozy uphill neighborhood of San Blas.

At night, we’ll celebrate New Year’s together.

The next stop is the Sacred Valley, famous for its amazing natural landscapes. Get to see the Salt Mines of Maras, the agricultural labs of Moray, and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. We also make a visit to a traditional textile center run by a local community that exclusively hires women in need.

Your taste buds are in for a treat with a traditional Pachamanca lunch, a Peruvian culinary delight where ingredients are cooked underground with hot stones for an exquisite, authentic flavor. After the tour, continue to Aguas Calientes, preparing for your upcoming Machu Picchu tour the following day.

Embark on a 2-hour guided journey led by our knowledgeable guide, exploring the pivotal landmarks within the Machu Picchu ruins. Uncover the captivating history and cultural legacy of the Incas as you delve into the remarkable structures of this ancient wonder, gaining a profound understanding of its significance.

After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to Cusco.

Following a leisurely morning in Cusco, we will catch a flight back to Lima. Later that day, you’ll embark on an optional food tour that will provide you with valuable insights into Peru’s culinary landscape, allowing you to sample a wide variety of delectable dishes.

Today, you’ll visit one of Peru’s most ancient distilleries, where you can savor the delightful taste of Pisco, the country’s national liquor. Following that, we’ll venture to the enchanting Huacachina Oasis for an exhilarating sand buggy and sandboarding excursion, creating an unforgettable desert adventure against the backdrop of the setting sun. At night, you’ll enjoy a farewell dinner with the group to recap this amazing trip.

On the final day of your adventure, you’ll have a leisurely morning to savor your last moments in Lima, perhaps enjoying the views of the coast again with a cup of freshly brewed Peruvian coffee. Later, we’ll accompany you to the airport, making sure your journey back to home is as smooth as your entire experience with us.
