The best time to visit Salar de Uyuni is between December and March, during the wet season. The salt-covered terrain creates mesmerizing reflections of the sky which can be seen from space!
How long I should visit Uyuni?
It is recommended that visitors stay at least 3-4 days in order to fully explore Salar de Uyuni. This includes the Salt Flats itself, as well as its many lagoons, mountains and desert landscape.
