    Important information

Explore our Bolivia Gallery! In the rainy season, the roads to certain destinations such as Incahuasi, and Tunupa are impossible to access. That is why you have to take into account the following before taking our Uyuni Night Tour:

What is the best time to stargaze in Uyuni?

The best time to stargaze in Uyuni is during the dry season, which typically runs from April/May to October. The clear skies and lack of light pollution make it an ideal spot for viewing constellations, planets and meteors. Additionally, star-gazers can enjoy seeing the Milky Way shine brightly in the night sky. Visitors should also aim to arrive near midnight when there are more darkness hours for better viewing.

What kind of stargazing opportunities does Uyuni offer?

Uyuni offers some of the best stargazing opportunities in South America. With its incredibly high elevation and lack of light pollution, it is one of the few places on Earth where you can see the Milky Way with remarkable clarity.

What should I bring for my uyuni night tour?

It is important to pack for your trip considering that you will be dealing with extreme temperatures so it's recommended you bring both warm and cold weather clothing options as well as comfortable shoes for walking around. Additionally you should also bring sun protection items like sunscreen and sunglasses as well as insect repellent and hats if you plan on being outdoors for long periods of time.

What type of experience should visitors look forward to during a full moon at Uyuni?

During a full moon visitors can enjoy vibrant scenes created by both natural and artificial light sources resulting in an unforgettable experience.

Are there any health risks associated with visiting Uyuni salt flats?

Although visitors are not exposed directly to many health risks while exploring the area, it is possible they could suffer mild symptoms related to altitude sickness due to extreme elevations reaching up 3,656 meters above sea level in some parts of the area so it's important visitors understand this risk before traveling there.

Missing objects in our Uyuni Night tour

Keep your valuables safe and sound! Whether you're on the transport, or out camping, always be aware of where you leave your things and remember to take them with you when you leave. You're solely responsible for your belongings during the tour, please keep an eye out and don't let anything get left behind!
