Itinerary

Day 1 La Paz/Copacabana/Isla del Sol

6:45h

Welcome to our favorite 2 days Lake Titicaca from La Paz tour. We begin our day with the transfer from your hotel at 6:45 am and we start our 4-hour trip to the town of Copacabana. On the way, we can appreciate the ‘Cordillera Real’ a mountain range crowned with snow from the Andes.

11:30h

We will arrive in Copacabana around 11:30 am where we will visit one of the most important church in the town.

12:00h

All aboard! we will go on a local boat to Isla del Sol (1.5 hrs). Our lunch will be a pleasant local buffet lunch called Apthapi.

We will have a guided tour of the southern part of the island, where we will discover the steps of Yumani, the fountain of eternal youth, and endless pre-colonial landscapes of the Aymara and Inca cultures.

16:00h

After 1,5 hrs of exploring, we will arrive at our hotel to rest with a beautiful view of the Isla del Sol. We rest and plan the next adventure to appreciate the sunset.

Day 2 Isla del Sol/Copacabana/La Paz

05:00h

We get up to do a time of meditation, and cultural interpretation of the local people while enjoying the sunrise. Then we have breakfast and have free time to explore the town of Yumani.

12:00h

After checking out, we will return to the port of Yumani to take our return boat to Copacabana. We will have free time to explore the markets, shop and eat snacks on the go.

Finally we take our private transport to La Paz arriving around 7 to 8pm.
