Itinerary

Day 1 La Paz/Represa del Tuni/Ch'iyar Qullu Viewpoint/Laguna Tuni/Llama fields/ La Paz

5:00h

We start our adventure very early at 5 am with the pick up from your hotel, we will drive 2 hours until we reach the entrance of our destination.

7:30h

We will have a box breakfast before starting our adventure, we will pack our hiking equipment and begin our expedition with an easy hike – moderated by altitude. The duration will be 3 hours and we will cross landscapes of the highlands: green and yellow mountains with diverse vegetation; dozens or hundreds of llamas that are herded by locals in the area, snow-capped mountains seen in the distance, and crystal clear lagoons.

The first lagoon that we will visit will be called Tuni, impressive, and used as a dam for the city of La Paz and El Alto; We will border the lagoon until we reach the Kuntur Pass where we will rest with a small snack and have time to take pictures of the tip of the Condoriri peak.

After 1 hour of walking we will arrive at our final destination the famous Chirak’ota Lagoon, a beautiful viewpoint with impressive views of the Tuni Condoriri massif, where the shape of a “Condor” (condor) for which it has the name can be seen.

12:00h

We enjoy the views, explore the place with the necessary time, then enjoy our picnic lunch and return to the car and finish our adventure to La Paz.

We will arrive to the hotels at approximately 4 to 5 pm.
